Die Kölner Hochschule für Katholische Theologie (KHKT) ist eine staatlich und kirchlich anerkannte Hochschule mit Promotionsrecht in Trägerschaft des Erzbistums Köln in Köln-Lindenthal. Bis Februar 2020 gehörte sie als Ordenshochschule zu den Steyler Missionaren (SVD), an deren Missionspriesterseminar in Sankt Augustin sie angegliedert war, und hieß bis zum Trägerwechsel Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule SVD St. Augustin (PTH).[2] 2020 übernahm das Erzbistum Köln durch eine dafür gegründete Gesellschaft die Trägerschaft der jetzt „Kölner Hochschule für Katholische Theologie (KHKT) – St. Augustin“ genannten Hochschule und verlegte 2021 den Standort nach Köln-Lindenthal. Zugleich entfiel der Zusatz „St. Augustin“ im Namen der Einrichtung.
